When is Avid Connect?
Saturday, April 22 – Sunday, April 23, 2017.  
Avid Connect 2017 conveniently takes place just before NAB 2017.

How much does Avid Connect cost?
The registration fee depends on when you register for Avid Connect 2017—the earlier, the better!

I received a promo code. How do I apply it to my registration?

If you have not yet registered for Avid Connect 2017, begin your registration and enter your discount code on the payment page and the system will recalculate your registration fee.

If you have already registered, please forward your promo code to our registration team at aca@avid.com . Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed, any refunds issued will usually post to your account within 7 to 10 business days after the request has been processed.

What is the payment policy?
Avid Connect 2017 registration accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Payment must accompany your registration in order for it to be processed. 

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be received in writing by sending your cancellation notice to  aca@avid.com . For a full refund, cancellations must be received by 12:00 noon (EDT) on Friday, March 31. No refunds will be given after 12:00 noon (EDT) on Friday, March 31. 2017.

Are attendee substitutions permitted?
If you’re unable to attend Avid Connect 2017, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email  aca@avid.com  with the new attendee's name and contact information by Friday, March 31, 2017. Substitutions will not be granted after this date.

Can I bring a guest?
Guest passes are available for $75 for the Poolside Dinner Party on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Guests will not be permitted to attend any of the Avid Connect 2017 conference sessions, meals or Open Technology Pavilion.

What kinds of sessions can I expect this year?
We are in the process of finalizing sessions.  We will be launching the full agenda with speakers, session titles, dates and times in early 2017.

How can I submit an idea for a session?
The call for speakers is now open, you can submit your session ideas  here .
Will there be product exhibits?
Yes, the Open Technology Pavilion is the hub of activity at Avid Connect 2017!  You’ll be able to network face-to-face with prominent visionaries and emerging leaders across video, audio, broadcast and film and see their latest products and solutions. 

What are the scheduled events for Avid Connect 2017?

Which meals will be provided at the conference? 
The following meal functions are included as part of the conference registration fee for all attendees:
      Saturday, April 22:  Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, cocktails and dinner
      Sunday, April 23:  Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks

What is the recommended attire for the conference?
Attire for Avid Connect is business casual.  Meeting room temperatures can be cool, so we suggest you wear layered clothing for comfort and flexibility. 

How do I redeem my NAB exhibitor pass?
As part of your registration, you will receive a free exhibitor pass to NAB ($150 value).  Your complimentary registration code will be emailed to you by December 31, 2016.
